J.D. Power Private Label Report

A just-released study found that 61% of adults look online for health information and 37% participate in the conversation.

What this means for companies in the Healthcare industry, is that they need to be listening to this important source of unbiased opinion. While simply monitoring conversations about your brand is a good start, if that’s all you’re doing, you’re just scratching the surface of the power of social media.

BRANDWEEK REPORTS ON J.D. POWER STUDY ON "EARLY CAREERISTS"

BrandWeek

"There's nothing like free food to get young people talking. According to J.D. Power and Associates, Arby's is the most talked-about quick-service restaurant online among "early careerists" (those between the ages 22-29). This was at least in part due to this summer's Wednesday Freebies promotion. Anthropologie was the top retailer.

The report culled more than 475,000 online conversations from MySpace, Blogger, LiveJournal and other public social media sites to see what brands this demographic were talking about."

What if you could listen in on tens of thousands of uncensored Gen Y conversations? Even better, what if you could listen in on a subset of Gen Y, such as Early Careerists (age 23 to 29)? What are they saying about your brand? Your new product? Your competitor’s ad?

Now you can. If you missed our webcasts in July, you can still catch the summer re-run. In these webcasts we looked at J.D. Power’s new patent-pending technology that allows us to segment participants in Social Media, and then look at common interests the group shares.
